TOYOTA INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT LAUNCHES FORKLIFT VEHICLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

July 23rd, 2015 - COLUMBUS, Ind. – Toyota Industrial Equipment has launched the company’s first vehicle management system, T-Matics. The system, which includes dashboard-style, web-based reporting, is available for factory order April 1

“T-Matics has been in development for more than two years,” said Terry Rains, TMHU VP of Aftermarket Sales. “Strong research and collaboration between Toyota, our partners and our dealers have strengthened our fleet management offerings and greatly increased the level of customer support we can provide.”

T-Matics, is made up of two products: T-Matics MOBILE and T-Matics COMMAND. T-Matics MOBILE, which works on cellular signal, is ideal for fleets that may rotate facilities, while T-Matics COMMAND is optimal for fleets in fixed locations. Both systems help increase efficiency and uptime by tracking both current usages and long-term operating trends.
